The gift bags from "The Beauty Social" sponsored by Beautylish had so many products I can't wait to try (DIOR Lip Addict 819 Havana Beige, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15, Scott Barnes Body Bling and so much more). Admittedly, as I've written before I'm a beauty and make-up fanatic, constantly trying new things from age defying treatments, hair products to beauty and cosmetics.

First up is 'Moisturizing Chubby Stick Lip Color Balm 07 Super Strawberry by Clinque'. It's more of soft rose lip stain, goes on smoothly and a nice option if not wanting to go vibrant red. I wore it yesterday.

Another gem of a tip from one of my make-up artists many years ago. It remains a popular cult classic among make-up fashionistas and a favorite of mine. This is sheer, barely there lip color when you want want just a touch of pigment. My make-up artist told me the look is 'as if you've been kissed really hard'. I was also told that this works great on any skin tone as well. Topping it off, the name of this Clinique goodie is 'Black Honey'. A newer sheer lip moisturizing gloss version is available only at Sephora.

Clinique "Rootbeer" Moisturizing Gloss is another of my favorites when wanting a more natural color for my lips. Another small way to update your look is to change your lipstick/gloss. One of the mistakes I see women make as they get older is clinging on to the same look. Update!
