5 Quick Tips to Jumpstart Your Health and Fitness Routines.
Start keeping a journal of the food you eat each day, including the not so healthy choices. This will help you monitor your caloric intake and make you even more aware of what you're putting into your body.
Buy a food scale to weigh your food. For instance if the average portion of meat should be 4 ounces, this is a great way to know exactly how much you're eating when cooking at home. You can find the scales in various price points from $10.00 and up. Portion control is key.
Be wary of hidden calories, read labels.
Replace soft drinks with water.
Do some form of exerise each day. 10 minutes. 10 minute walk. 10-sit-ups, etc. This should be doable to get moving.

Wish I had read your blog before I ate the ice cream and cheetos today, lol. I can't write that in a journal....that just wouldn't look good, LOL!!!
I'm gonna do better, though...tomorrow! LOL :)
I do this regularly ('cept weighing my food, although ...), but it doesn't hurt to have a reminder - printing it out and posting on the fridge. =)
